Does anyone have experience using the 10’ EZ-Up awning with another brand tent? My wife and I are using an ABC market tent and we need an awning for it. ABC doesn’t have any awnings on their site and the EZ-Up product looks a lot better than some of the awnings I have seen at festivals. The EZ-up product looks like it will work as it has various bushings for the brackets. However, I would like to avoid an error if I can. I am open to any alternatives that someone may be able to suggest. UThank you very much for any help that you can provide!

You'll need a couple of Upper Sta-bar brackets, the EZ-302, and the Sta-Bar Ell LD-202 for the fittings to attach to a square leg tent. The cost of the brackets is about $90 total. You will need a 10' EMT pipe for the cross bar and another 10' section that you will need to cut down into a couple of short sections to attach to the legs. In addition, go to Harbor Freight and get a pack of tarp clamps to attach to the awning. Three are needed for the front, and possibly one for each side to keep it taut and shedding water properly. You'll need ball bungees to attach the clamps to the metal pipes securely.
The long velcro straps on the EZ-Up awnings will still attach to the tent scissor struts. Attach them on the upper struts in order to keep the awning sloping and not flat. I've done this for years and it works well. I do use a EZ-Up frame but the EZ-Up awning brackets are a poor design and don't always work properly. The Flourish brackets give a more polished look and allow the awning to shed water quickly without pooling.
