We have been wait listed for a show memorial weekend. We will be doing a show the weekend before about 2 hours away and passing through the city of the wait list show on Monday. At that point we will have to decide to stay or head home if we still have not gotten in. I have not received a response to my 3 previous emails so considered " dropping by" to meet someone in person. My thought was that even if we don't make it in this year it is good PR to make that face to face connection. I have heard of others doing this but don't want to be viewed as too assertive or "a pest" because I know that could backfire if they get irritated by it. What do you all think?

Thanks Larry. Unfortunately our dilemna is that waiting until the day before the show means the extra expense of staying 4 extra days....I definitely will call them though and then go from there :)
Call if they don't respond to e-mail. If you're going to drop in, make it the day before when they are laying out the show because even if there's no cancellation, a space may magically open up.
Don't wait till the last minute to call. Do it on Monday or even try today.
