  • In addition, there is a show in Boalsburg Pa called the People's Choice Art Festival. It's only open to Pennsylvania residents and is on the way into the State College show. I think it closes in December. Something to look into for next year.

  • Rick Bryant who runs the show is a great guy, artist friendly, and wonderful to work with.

That is probably the weekend with the most shows all year long, just about every artist has somewhere to be, and the shows compete to get the best ones. It could be Central PA, or Madison (WI), or St. Joe (MI), or Cain Park in Cleveland, or ... artists apply to several and then pick their favorites as they see which ones they get into. As Larry said, there is lots of movement ... good luck.

  • There are enough other shows that weekend that there can be movement on the waiting list as artists try to do their first choice that weekend. I've been on the waiting list for State College about three or four times and have gotten the call each time. One thing I would do is give them a call to let them know you're still interested.
