Looks like this show changed promoters in the last couple of years. Any thoughts on whether this is a positive or negative thing. I have read some reviews (pretty mixed) so looking for any feedback

I applied because it's local for me. I have read pretty much what you have on it: mixed results. I applied in part because Erin Melloy took it over. But I am wait listed, which came as a bit of a surprise.
I have heard good things about Erin Malloy's shows. But the Cantigny venue in Wheaton has been a tough nut to crack, even before Amy Amdur took it over a few years ago. For whatever reason, it's never been a successful venue for most artists I've spoken with who have done it in the past. I've never done it, never applied for the simple reason that no one I know has had good sales there.
Perhaps Erin will be able to bring the buying customers in.
Just got accepted to this show, first time for me. From what I have heard from others who have done shows by Erin Malloy (EMEvents) is that they put on good shows. Hopefully others who have done this show will reply.
