What are the opinions out there from art show veterans? What's the best basic canopy, and beyond that, is one company better at canopy extras like awnings, walls, etc.?
I am leaning toward Trimline. But Creative Energies, makers of the Lightdome, is only a few hours ride away from my home and I like the idea of repairs, add-ons, and other support being semi-local. But quality comes first.

Trimline is the sturdiest but also has the most pieces and is the most complicated to set up. Light Dome is symmetrical so most pieces are interchangeable from side to side making it easier to set up. And it's a little lighter but not quite as sturdy as the Trimline, but it's still in the same class. I don't know about customization. You're going to have to speak to both companies and see if they offer extra work after purchase.
I used a Craft Hut for many years and the Trimline is the closest thing to it. But after purchasing a used Trimline, I sold it and went for a new Light Dome. I'm getting older and not doing that many shows so I needed something lighter and easier to set up.
