I do paintings and prints, from 8x10 up to 18x24. Guessing I should have bags for the smaller stuff? For larger stuff, should I maybe wrap in craft paper or something? Any tips on where to buy some bags cheap or not in huge quantities?
Also do I need to give people any type of receipt?
Thanks, lots of questions I know : )

Thank you! This site is so awesome. It is so nice to see so many friendly people sharing helping each other out. : )
I just bought 100 clear bags on Amazon for $19. Buy another item and get free shipping.

These are AWESOME! Is there a way to ask a seller a question on Amazon though? I need them by next friday, and concerns me says can take 2 to 3 days for processing and then 3 to 5 shipping.
found it!
Another good idea is to stick a label with logo, contact info and website on the bag and also place a tag with the same information inside the bag. You can just print black& white or color. It will costs a few extra $ but not only you’ll brand your bag but you will also increase the possibility for additional sales after the Art Festival.
I had inexpensive address labels printed at Staples to stick on my bags. They look like an abbreviated version of my business card. And actually were less expensive than printing myself.
Thanks guys! All great ideas. This site is awesome! I'm getting cheap bags for the larger stuff from the printer we work with through my job. Still just have to find some nice small ones for the 8x10 prints. Will do the labels/stickers for the bag. And using my sisters ipad and ordered a square for the credit card purchases : )
Some people save bags from all their shopping, but that looks a little tacky. About the only "store" bags that I used to use were from Art Supply stores. I get my bags in various sizes from Dolphin Fixtures in Norfolk. They are changing their name to Store for Stores. You could look for a store fixture place in your area, or a store supply place.
