What are the best things about art fairs

Connecting with people that find a piece that speaks to them. And the camaraderie of fellow artists!

Best show ever and why

Best single day show was the Columbus ArtFest (Indiana), I sold two major works at a first year show that I went into with very few expectations - Best multiple day show was the Indiana Artisan Marketplace, I had to take my setup up a notch to prepare for this one and while it was a TON of work, it has been worth it in follow ups and my confidence in putting my work out there.

Worst show ever and why

An arts event that well, wasn't... My booth was on a dead end branch of the event hidden behind a 30 foot long Mack Truck there to advertise for a materials handler. I spent a week removing all the axle grease form my booth curtains....but hey, the music was good.
