If you haven't read the review of the Artisphere open jury yet, there's now a response from the director and how she thought it was a fair review and changes they may make for next year.

I really wanted to go to this. I had talked to Liz about it a couple of months ago and decided this was a perfect opportunity to see the jury first hand (since my studio is in Greenville). However I found out just the week before that the chosen date was a Saturday (when I was scheduled to be at another show out of town). Such a pity that the open jury was scheduled on a weekend (when so many artists are already committed to another show somewhere else).
I understand the person making this report is anonymous. However could you ask that person if they would mind discussing their experience with me directly? If so, have them give me a call at 864-915-7001. It is likely that he/she is local and I know them already. Thanks. Ray
