  • Dennis,

I used ArtFairSourcebook last year. It was beneficial and provided alot of detailed information.

It's a little pricey to subscribe to, however you can access information at no charge, just without all of the specific details, such as traffic count, earned income, etc.. However it does help in locating the shows by area, Midwest, South, etc.... You can locate the shows and then google them to find their websites to inquire on their application process.

I've done Marco Island in late Feb, early March and really liked it. Had a great show.

    Hope this helps a little,

    Brenda
  • For local information you can also search Yahoo groups for artists by geographic locations.
  • It's http://zapplication.org
I recommend getting a subscription to Sunshine Artist Magazine to familiarize yourself with art shows. They list most of the art shows in the country. Additionally before applying to a particular show, I suggest asking about it on one of the art show related forums. Too many times, an artist applies, gets accepted and then asks if it's a good show. Then they cancel if they don't like the feedback they get on the forums. Better to ask before applying.

  • Hi Dennis,
This group is a great resource - http://www.artfaircalendar.com
Typically most are listed here - can also checkout zapplication.com and juriedartservices.com as they are two of the services used to submit applications online.
Make sure to watch the entry deadlines. Good luck to you.
