art hanging options

Anyone have a solution for hanging heavy pieces. I am looking at the cable hangers sold by Propanels. Anyone use something else? Some of my photographs are on acrylic and large size so the drapery hook method just does not do the trick

  • I use the Flourish mesh with the supplied S hooks inside.

Inside they are very strong, with no weight concerns.

Outside I use the Drapery hooks. The strength is fine, not quite as good as inside, but fine for 12 square foot Acrylics. The only problem I've found is the art work being lifted off the hooks with 45mph winds. Then I put some duct tape on the hooks to keep the hanging wire trapped.

For the big pieces I use 2 hooks.

I don't use the ProPanels, except the bins.

  • Never use drapery hooks. Besides the cable hangers, look at strap hangers from Flourish. They hang from the top bars in the tent and the Pro panels or mesh walls act as a backdrop.
