I need to add a rain-proof 3 - 5 ft extenstion to the back of my EZ Up tent. I have created one that I put up --- use metal piping joined at corners, run extra sides from the tent around the addition, velcro the back wall to the tent and hang it over the top as the "roof". I prop the corners and middle with those extandable paint brush handles, adpated so they have "cups" to hold the metal piping...I use clips to hold all in place. I know that's hard to envision. It's not real pretty either.
I need something that is more rain-proof. I need something that doesn't take me an hour to set up (slight exaggeration on time). I need something that doesn't keep me up at night worrying during rain storms.
Why I need: I'm pottery/ceramics. Packing up my pieces takes forever. Whenever space & organizers allow I add the space and use it to store my boxes, my wrapping table, etc. It has saved me a tremendous amount of time when I pack up.
Problem is that when it rains the water weighs the rigged roof down so I'm having to prop, put tarps under and over everything...
I was wondering if there was a purchasable option? If anyone had a better solution?
I've looked at 10 x 15 tents as an option but really don't want to spend $600 plus for one with side-walls.

Thanks, I just zapped them a message. I didn't see exactly what I wanted, but that's the closest I've seen. I might could adapt that canopy. Much appreciate your help.
You should also contact the people at Trimline. Their 5 ft awning combined with the correct brackets just might work with your EZ up
