What are the best things about art fairs
Interchange between artist and patron; exposure and education of art
Best show ever and why
New Berne, NC in 1970; I purchased my first art from an art fair, which I still have in my home
Worst show ever and why
Tempe Festival of the Arts, December 2009; the rain was so fierce it kept washing all the booth location markings away, so we could not set up until it improved. Angry artists, frustrated organizers.
