First show ever

Hometown, First Monday Art Sunday, Sunday before Labor Day, 1981. Nothing was for sale....just showing. Ma art was hung on a dog collar display that came from my friend's dad's Vetinarian Office.

What are the best things about art fairs

Making friends and establishing collectors, Then getting to come back to see them every year

Best show ever and why

Again, my hometown show in the early 2000's. Was the most money that I ever made, it was a 1 day show, and I didn't have to travell anywhere. I also got to see hundreds of my friends and family.

Worst show ever and why

Jimmy Rodgers Festival in______, Miss., I cant even remember the town, in the late 90's. When I got there, they hadn't even decided yet if it would be a one or two day show. When the only customers showed up because of a musical act, they cut the lights out. It was a one day show for me!
