What are the best things about art fairs

I like sharing my work with the public. Plus, I have family in Fairbanks, Alaska, & my work often depicts Native Alaskans & sled dogs; I love sharing Alaska with people as well.

Best show ever and why

My best show was at Peoria's Riverfront Market. It was the best in terms of sales, but I also had a customer who'd boated downriver with her husband from Chicago. She was quite interesting to talk with, &...she bought one of my prints!

Worst show ever and why

The worst show by far was during a cold, rainy Spoon River Scenic Drive in October. I didn't have an EZ-up tent at that time, only some contraption with tarps that my husband had cobbled together for me. He'd tried, but I just could not get the thing situated. The vendor next door took pity & tried to help, but that ended when he adjusted the top & I got gallons of cold rainwater dumped on my head.
