What are the best things about art fairs
well I haven't participated in any yet as this is my first time trying but I'd imagine it's going to be meeting people and connecting with other artists.
Best show ever and why
I assisted another artist for years at craft Boston, my favorite part about working with her was "tea time" aka where we took a break together for tea and a sweet treat. I also assisted someone for a JCK las Vegas show way back in the day...that was fun mostly because of the dinner parties in bright sparkly places with other vendors after the shows ended, she had won an award so we got to be all fancy and celebrate together.
Worst show ever and why
I haven't had one yet...and don't want to think I will...but sometimes customers can be jerks and mean for no reason and that makes for an unfortunate interaction especially if you have a day of zero sales and all meanies...but you can't make everyone happy...also I guess getting caught in a torrential downpour while breaking down a show would be a bummer...or could be fun if you enjoy heavy rain and don't have to worry about your artwork getting ruined.
