Years in the Art Fair Business
12
First show ever
I can't remember what it was called, but it was in Quincy, IL.
What are the best things about art fairs
Meeting and talking with customers, talking with other artists, seeing my display get better and better each year, getting requests for custom orders.
Best show ever and why
Andersonville Midsommarfest in Chicago, because I adore the neighborhood and meet a lot of great people each year, and have people that come back year after year to find me there.
Worst show ever and why
Retro on Roscoe about 10 years ago, because it rained like cats and dogs the whole weekend. The upside was that a few of the other artists and I went out to lunch instead and had a lot of fun.
