What are the best things about art fairs
After all the work of creating the art, you finally get to show it off & hopefully sell some. When we are not painting we are correcting booth images and photographs for all the other artists that require our services!
Best show ever and why
Main St Fort Worth - A shot in the dark application to the country's possibly 3rd biggest art show & little old us got in as 'emerging artists' in 2012 We didn't win anything but we had great feedback, made some good sales and learned a lot about how it all works. Also made a couple of private commissions too.
Worst show ever and why
Our first show in Mansfield in 2011, before we were ready to exhibit. The temperatures were ridiculous. It was our first time, it was the first for the organizers and their last. We didn't sell anything at all. We had serious winds which destroyed our tent and it was 106F all day long...Glad we did it though. The only way was up.

Many topics have already been discussed here before you joined us. You might like to try a search of your topic before you post your question. Just put your topic, canopy tents, jurying fees, Ann Arbor Art Fair, etc, into the search bar at the top of the right side of the page. You might be surprised that someone has already asked your question.
