What are the best things about art fairs

People, being outdoors (when the weather is good)

Best show ever and why

Decatur (IL) Arts in Central Park. The staff is respectful, helpful, willing to share honestly information that will help you to have a better show and experience. The price is very reasonable. The show also has a loyal group of patrons.

Worst show ever and why

Danville (IL) Blues Festival. Was very inexperienced at the time, didn't realize what types of shows we'd do well at. It was 110 degrees, there was only one other booth (not an artist), and we made $14.00 - all day.

Who referred you to ArtFairInsiders.com? Please be specific.

Was looking for reviews on Howard Alan Events and came across one via Google. Awfully glad I did too - it confirmed my suspicions that it's an outfit not worth dealing with!

p.s. The best way to make this system easy to use is to click on the "Follow-Email me" link at the bottom of each Forum discussion that interests you.  That way the system will email you automatically whenever anyone responds.  It's a great time-saver.
