Years in the Art Fair Business
One
First show ever
A small kids Christmas craft show hosted by a friend.
What are the best things about art fairs
Seeing the faces of customers as they admire your hard-work.
Best show ever and why
Brookwood Farmer's Market. It is one of the only shows I have ever sold at. I've made $100+ there and there are lots of kids that come with their families. Kids are my target audience.
Worst show ever and why
The kids craft show that was my first sale. There were less than 10 customers that actually came. Most of my customers were the moms of the other vendors!
Who referred you to ArtFairInsiders.com? Please be specific.
I visited the 43rd annual Yellow Daisy Festival in Atlanta, GA a few days ago. A vendor selling jewelry gave me a few pointers for starting my own jewelry business and ArtFairInsiders.com was one of the sites she said I should definitely check out.
