First show ever

1991 Eudora, Ks It was a small craft show and I sold all my paintings that day and thought I was in heaven, never expecting to sell anything. It was a great day and I've been painting like crazy ever since.

What are the best things about art fairs

Meeting all the shoppers and just the fun of a festival.

Best show ever and why

The Plaza Art Fair in Kansas City. The festive atmosphere, all the stores, the music and food were all just wonderful. The people were all dressed up and it was just a great time.

Worst show ever and why

Any time I can display my art and meet new people, I feel it's a successful day. Every art show will not be extraordinarily productive financially, but the exposure will be worth it. So, I can't say I've ever really had a bad show. Fortunately, I've never experienced a storm though!
