First show ever
A little street fair in Boston...the name escapes me.
What are the best things about art fairs
The customers who appreciate the skill required for my art. And, show organizers who appreciate their vendors.
Best show ever and why
Buckhead Spring Arts and Crafts Festival - May 2011. The show organizers went out of their way to accommodate the artists, even using golf carts to help transport merchandise to my booth. They were ever present making sure everyone was doing well and didn't need a break. Had breakfast and coffee every morning for the artists.
Worst show ever and why
Kaiserslautern Army Wives Group Spring Bazaar. They were extremely inefficient, talked down to the vendors and had an attitude that we should be thankful for being there. To out-process the bazaar, the artists had to wait in line for over an hour to finish up all paperwork.
