What are the best things about art fairs
The variety of artists using mediums in unique and creative ways offers a wealth of inspiration. Many buyers are knowledgable and appreciate the time given to their craft and are prepared to pay for quality work.
Best show ever and why
Beltane Festival in New Paltz, NY was very enjoyable! 14 hours long and it flew by! The sales were good, people were very nice and I enjoyed spinning wool on my spinning wheel also. The music and pageant was great and the bonfire and dancing went on until after midnight. I will definately do this one again!
Worst show ever and why
Shop till you Drop Event at Mariner's Harbor in Highland, NY. I don't think there was enough advertising done for this one. 20 vendors, not juried, many food or home products. Not many people came by. Good set-up practice though.
Who referred you to ArtFairInsiders.com? Please be specific.
I don't remember. I have been receiving emails for months, though most venues were in other states, so I usually deleted it. Was surprised to see Rhinebeck, NY Craft Show mentioned today.
