  • Hi Josef-

I just used it for the first time last weekend. Here is the review I left on my blog.

(in a nutshell its a very nice tent. I did struggle a bit getting the poles to click into the top part with the roof on by myself. but that may get easier once the top loosens over time..but see below)

    from my latest post:

I used the tent for the first time this weekend at an outdoor show in VA. Although there was  no rain to test the waterproof part of it this weekend my first impressions of the tent is good.

Its very quick to put up and better yet the sides are much faster to assemble than other tents and take down because it is velcro. I was worried that the sides may blow off but the velcro and straps keep it very secure.  Another great thing about the walls is that you dont have to struggle to connect each one around each pole! no zippers but the velcro seeems to secure them nicely.

Basicly the whole thing was up in less than 10min, inluding the sides.

The top is vinyl and very tight so I assume that rain will just roll off the top. I dont see how any water can leak through this roof.

The poles are thick and seem pretty durable.  spreading the tent out was easly and lifting was easy. I did however struggle quite a bit to get the pole to snap into the top part. I think this is because the top is sooooo tight. I had to loosen the top in order to snap the poles into place at the top. Im not sure if the top will expand a bit over time or if this is always going to be an issue.  Im going to call and ask today.

All in all I think I made a great investment. Its a nice tent.  The time it took to put up was so worth it and I dont think Ill worry when It does rain.  This may end up being my primary shelter and my lightdome as my backup, but I still need a few more shows to determin that.
