What are the best things about art fairs

Sales, increased visibility for my work, feedback from patrons, networking with other artists

Best show ever and why

Corpus Christi Festival of the Arts 2012. It met all of the criteria described directly above and then some.

Worst show ever and why

Texas State Arts & Crafts Fair 2013. Dysfunctional show management (director quit day before event); horrible weather and ill-prepared event committee; saturation of art shows and sales (5 in this city in one weekend) which artists were not told about.

Who referred you to ArtFairInsiders.com? Please be specific.

Found you via Google, looking for listings of juried art fairs.

What is one fun fact about yourself?

I am a former USWA Windsurfing National Champion (1996) and a retired hospital CEO who turned a hobby and love for jewelry into a second career.
