Being outside; meeting new people and connecting with old friends. Seeing all the beautiful and varied items so many talented people create.
Best show ever and why
St Patrick’s Day Festival on Emerald Isle, NC. Close to home, friends around, laughter, food and drink.
Worst show ever and why
It was one I paid a lot to get into then bad weather was predicted. I knew it was non refundable but I kept asking if we should set up or not. I’m 59 yo and alone so it’s no small task for me to do. Anyway, they were adamant the show would go on. I started setting up the night before, finished early morning before opening, six plus hours total. 1/2 hour after opening they shut us down for high winds and lightening. Besides being livid, I was exhausted!!
