First show ever
Hob Nob in Terre Haute, IN (high end craft/makers market) One of a Kind Chicago last week was my first “art fair”. Looking to add more for 2023 as my leather line expands.
What are the best things about art fairs
Spending time with other artists. I love connecting to my customers and getting real-time feedback on my designs and work.
Best show ever and why
Always the next one… Best so far would likely be One of a Kind Chicago. As my wife’s macrame is fading, OOAK showed that leather can carry our small business and help it grow, although it means a lot more hours to keep up.
Worst show ever and why
Barns at Nappannee - the organizer treats the artists as a side show to get people to come spend money at the organizer’s booths.
