First show ever
I’ve been making Jewelry for over 50 years, and teaching for 6 years for the city library. I thought it would be fun to try and sell my projects at the annual book sale. I sold many things and acquired many new students. I taught them how to create their own business out of this new Craft they had learned.
What are the best things about art fairs
I love how many people that you meet and friends you make. Connecting with people who enjoy the same things. Selling my creations to someone that will wear what I made.
Best show ever and why
Best Show Ever was at a local winery. Many items I made were wine or grapevine inspired. Naturally, most of my customers had been enjoying the wine tasting as well as shopping!
Worst show ever and why
My worst show ever was probably the first couple of events. I was showing off what I had made instead of having a proper inventory to sell.
Who referred you to ArtFairInsiders.com? Please be specific.
I looked you up on a whim, and am a member of the local art guild where I live in California. I have recently retired and can spend more time being creative, and plan to relocate to Summerlin within a year or 2. I am always looking for a place to sell my Artwork.
What is one fun fact about yourself?
I started making jewelry at 11 years old, sold jewelry findings at 15 and Diamonds at 17. My studies at school always included Art, Geology and gemstone classes. Jewelry is what I know and what I do.
