What are the best things about art fairs
#1 Selling my work. #2 Seeing peoples reactions to my new work #3 Meeting like minded fellow artists and realizing that they have the same struggles as I do.
Best show ever and why
Show...Rancho Mirage Arts Festival in November 2008 Why...Overall an $11,000 show, $5,500 at the show and $6000 in orders...Placed !st place in my category.
Worst show ever and why
Show...Thousand Oaks Arts Festival September 2009 Why... My very 1st $0.00 show, felt like I was kicked in the groin, but I did win 3rd best of show, but that doesn't pay the bills.
Who referred you to ArtFairInsiders.com? Please be specific.
Scott and Victoria LaCosse from Lacosse Studios. I met them at the Las Olas Arts Festival earlier this month and gained a great deal of information from them.
