First show ever

Featured artist, solo show, "Killer Kitsch" at SmART Shop Gallery and iron works. It was nerve racking... it was difficult for me to put myself out there for the very first time... but I survived and am learning to roll... it isn't so difficult!

What are the best things about art fairs

The thrill of putting yourself out there, in front of so many people! Meeting other artists and talking with the viewers.

Best show ever and why

Probably the second art hop I was in. It drew in over 1,500 people, and for downtown Plainwell, Michigan, that number was amazing! Met so many new people, talked to other artists, which led to more shows, and meeting more people!

Worst show ever and why

I was scheduled for a solo show, and the day of it, I woke up with the flu... what a DRAG! Thankfully, I have great support from my daughter and mom (husband, too) and they went with my art and stayed!
