Since sales generally reflect the true level of interest in your art, I would say that Christmas in the Country (Hamburg NY) is my best show every year. Excellent sales and great sponsors.

    They are wrong...what you can't do is paint acrylic over oil....oil over acrylic is bueno..I taught art at our local college and owned an art supply store for 25 years.

    Hello Again
    Another method I used was to do my under painting in acrylic, then switch to oils for the final. This way I could establish color and composition rapidly without having to wait for the oil to dry.
