First show ever

Boulder Farmers Market the weekend after 9/11. Considering what had happened in our country during the week, I didn't expect much. I had a very good show and received many complements. The show was also my first juried show.

What are the best things about art fairs

I enjoy meeting the people, getting feedback, and networking with vendors. I also enjoy the sales.

Best show ever and why

Its a tie between two. The first was in August 2002 and was Gold Rush Days in Leadville, CO. It was during the drought and Leadville is at 10,000 feet in the mountains, so it was much cooler than home. It rained one evening. The events were fun and so were the people. My sales were fantastic. The second was last fall: Sept 2010 the Harris Park Festival sponsored by South Westminster Art Group. It was just a very fun show, great people, good sales, made good contacts, great feedback and was invited to join the group and be in their gallery.

Worst show ever and why

The winter of 2003 in Florence, CO. Can't even remember the festival name. I was in a corner behind a booth that had curtains, I could not even be seen. Very low turnout and what was there could not see me. I sold one item.
