First show ever

Girdwood Forest Fair, Girdwood Alaska. I had a kid's booth from 1995-1999. My first show as a big kid was GratefulFest, Nelson Ledges OH in 2006.

What are the best things about art fairs

Meeting wonderful people and sharing art!! It's also nice to get such a wide range of feedback on work, and making enough money to get home is sweet, too!

Best show ever and why

GratefulFest 2009---Family atmosphere, perfect weather, beautiful, loving people, camping in a great forest, fantastic music, and to top it off, the only time we've ever sold out of everything we brought!

Worst show ever and why

Camp Bisco 2009---I was selling white t shirts in the muddiest place I've ever been. It was torrential all weekend, and the site was destroyed---each step you'd sink in the mud 1.5 feet at least. One girl broke her knee trying to get unstuck from the mud, she sunk so deep. Dirty!! Not the place for white fabric!!
