I am a knitter/weaver. I get the, did you make all of this stuff, also where do you buy your patterns? Do you have your own sheep/alpacas. That's just a few.

I also get knitters who want me to tell them how I did it so they can go home and make their own.  Or a group than come in my booth and examine every thing and the head knitter will stand there and tell the group exactally how I made the garment, sometime, even if she is right I say no, I didn't do it that way. Mean me.... Or last of all the person who wants to buy a sweater/scarf who is with a friend who knits and whipsers just enough so that I can hear, don't buy it, I'll make it for you......... Gotto love the knitters.......

  • I used to get upset when people ask "did you make all of this, yourself". I realized that this was their way of starting a conversation with me. So, I say yes and continue talking with them.
