Does anyone have a good recommendation for a vinyl banner printer? I am looking to enlarge some images and have them printed them on vinyl- high resolution is a must. I just came across bannerbuzz.com - they are doing a 2ft x 3ft banners for $6. Seems too good to be true- anyone have experience with these guys? Thanks, Matt.

I have had several made on www.vistaprint.com, and they are fabulous. The plastic tabs they have to hang the banner don't hold up well, but the banner itself is inexpensive and very very good quality. I have black borders on mine and used black duct tape at the corners to make my own hangers after the plastic ones cracked. Vistaprint will let you know if your photo resolution is ok to print at that size, also so you shouldn't have to worry about pixellated photos.

If I could ask a question of those of you that have them…where do you hang them? Front, on the tent, or in the back, on the inside?
I was thinking about a banner to hang along the front of my tent, but I don’t want to damage the tent vinyl. If hanging inside, I don’t have much space, as I usually have a wall set up along most of the back. But maybe if it were positioned high enough, it could still work. In a location like that, how do you hang it from the frame? And, is it stiff enough to hang straight? I was thinking about getting an image mounted on a large piece of foamcore, but that would be a pain on a breezy day. I have my back wall rolled up almost all the time, as I sit there, wrap, etc. A banner would at least have some flexibility.
Linnea, I use the flourish mesh panels on 3 sides of my booth, I hang my banner using s-hooks on the back wall of the inside of my booth, and also on the back side when it is visible at a show. If I get a corner booth I also put a banner on the outside wall of my booth so it is visible from as many sides as possible. I sometimes use an awning pole on the back of my booth, folding the vinyl tent wall over the awning pole, then I hang my banner from that. No mesh panel in that case, so I hang with electrical tape My banners are not stiff, I connect all four corners to the mesh panel to keep it tight, and when it is hanging from the awning pole it curls a bit sometimes along the bottom. I have had a sign in my yard using a vinyl banner and foam core in a steel frame since the beginning of December. Right now it is covered in ice but still looks like it did when I hung it up.
I have not used them, but I did order mine from www.buildasign.com I felt they had really good prices and they make sure your graphics will print clearly. You can also check vistaprint. They are now doing banners.

The hutshop.com has awning poles for $40. We were looking into using them for a banner.
