August 4, 2019. It's 1 o'clock in the morning in Bloomfield, Indiana.  There's a really strange roaring sound outside.  Someone's yelling and pounding on the front door.  It's the Sheriff.

"Does anyone live in that building?"

Woodworkers Vicki and Lance lose their building to flames that light up the night sky. They lose all the materials that contribute to their 40 year old art fair business: equipment, supplies, half-complete furniture, inventory for the next art fair and their two kitties.

Do you know Vicki and Lance? We've been friends for all that time and were next to them at shows innumerable times. We watched them grow from mass produced (by hand, of course), serviceable furniture made from readily available lumber to creating one of a kind work from rare woods.

Just as the quality and collectibility of their in-demand work has grown, so has their circle of friends. Always cheerful, helpful and kind and lots of fun, they are the kind of people you want to know and want to know better and count in your circle of friends.

Friends have started a GoFundMe campaign to help them recover.
