Spring Art Fair at Queeny Park

Hi Linda,

I've been doing this show for several years now. The Spring show is nice. The Fall show is even better. It's very well organized, great people, fun live (yet subtle) jazz music, and usually well attended. I purchased a pipe and drape system for my display because of the 10x8 allowance. You can always take a chance that you are between two artists with pro panels that will create walls for you. Another option is grid walls covered with fabric. Or you could rent a pipe and drape setup.

  I am a 2D artist so I would have to hang items on the walls. I have a 10x10 tent and mesh panels. This does not work with an 8x10 space. If I rented the bars that I see in the picture, that would work for the 10ft wall, which I assume is the back wall. But I would still have to worry about those two side walls.

  Thank for the info. Guess my desicion has been made for me. Good news, we have accepted an offer for the sale of our house this am! Bad news, have to find a new house for us, get ready to move, the closing will be first week of April...Soo guess I'll have to apply to the Fall show...... Again, thanks, this sounds like a good show over all.

Yes, that is the date for this year. The date changes each year, because of Easter. The application deadline is past and the jury has met. There is a wait list at this point. Queeny is a good show! We have always enjoyed the show.

  Thanks, I have juried into the show, but am a little concerned about the booth size(10by8) I usually use the frame of my tent for indoor shows and hang my screens on it.
  
  Can't do that with this show. I have in the past done the show in Clayton, and had good sales, so I'de like to come back to St. Louis again. Have to pay the booth fee by the 14th. so guess I'll have to make my mind up......
