Well we finally had a good weekend, well Saturday any ways, to try and set up the new Trimline tent for the first time.
All seemed to be going well, had the top together, the canopy on, vents open, up on the legs and the sides on. Then I went to bend over to attach one of the StaBars at the bottom… Ouch!
I’m stuck!
Help I can’t move.
My husband came to my rescue.
No it wasn’t my back.
Let me say this…”the Trimline tent has some really strong Velcro!”
When I bent over I did realize one of the hook sided Velcro tabs was sticking out from the wall at the leg, it grabbed my hair and I wasn’t going anywhere! As soon as he got me lose, I when to each one of the tabs and rolled in onto the fuzzy part so it wouldn’t happen again. I glad I wasn’t trying to do this by myself, I can’t imagine trying to flag down a car going by to come get me unstuck from a piece of Velcro.
Beware the Hook Velcro Monster! He will get you and not let go!

Chris, you will be a pro at putting up the tent in no time. It gets easier the more times you do it. I don't know what is worse to get stuck to - velcro or duct tape. We need them both though, that is for sure. Good luck on your second try.
Those velcro tabs are supposed to go around the pole to fasten the wall to the canopy structure, so the walls don't flap in the breeze. You can leave the velcro unfastened if you're going to roll a wall up during a show.
I know, we just hadn't gotten to that point at the time! When we packed it up I made sure they were all folded on themselves.
