Sealing Drawings

Hi, I was hoping fellow 2d artists using pencil, colored pencil, pastels, etc. could help me out. I do colored pencil drawings and would like to display them without glass. What would be best to seal them with? I spray them with a drawing fixative now to prevent the wax bloom, but need something more substantial for finished framing and display. Obviously I'd like to find something that isn't going to yellow.

I've read of people using an acrylic sealant. Is there a specific kind for drawings or can I use something like polycrylic? I've also heard of using varnish, do you know what kind?
