Just found an app that can be used to forecast the wind. Although rain at an art show is no fun, wind can sometimes be a lot more destructive! It is basically a site used by sailing enthusiasts, but covers pretty much everywhere. It is called SailFlow and can be found at http://www.sailflow.com/Search.aspx. This application can tell you wind direction and speed for up to 12 days in advance (but they also say anything past 7 days should not be relied upon). As far as I can tell, there are mobile apps for Apple and Android. The site is free to use if you don't mind ads on the perimeter of your screen. Or you can pay $2.99 or $9.99 per month for less ads or no ads, respectively.
