Jean didn't yesterday on her way home from camping with our niece at Crestone in the Sangre de Cristos in southern CO. Mudslide and flash flood closed US 24 at Manitou Springs east of Colo. Spgs. That's just 45 minutes from home. She had to detour north from Woodland Park to Deckers in the foothills on state hwy. and dirt forest road, then paved road into Sedalia about an hour north of us. Probably 2-3 hours out of the way, but US 285 through FairPlay would have been maybe 30 minutes longer at the outset. Que Lastima! They had a bear in their campground and teeth marks on their cooler.
