Another Q: what kind of price tags do you use? I was thinking of printing out prices on card stock and post on the propanels with pins?

If you have propanels you can buy those little velcro squares and put them on the back of the cards. If you have time, you might want to think about buying a laminator and laminating them. It will cut down on wear and tear and the tags. Or someone I know uses those nametag plastic things and puts the cards in them. That way they can be easily changed out but they have some protection and look a little nicer.
