We display jewelry using tables, but would like to use pro-panels and attached shelves to the walls. We would velcro the jewelry display to the shelves. Asking if anyone has all ready try this and if there was a problem with the wind. We would be using either a KD Kanopy ot Trimline canopy. Any information would be helpful.

I don't use propanels for jewlery, but I use them for paintings. I was worried about the wind as well. Before I had gridwalls, and they worked great as added weight to the tent and let the wind go through.
I have a trimline. I attach the propanels to the stay bars at the bottom with zips and then I also got the new hooks pro panel has, which attaches the top of the pro panels to the top of your tent. They are now firmly attached. I have seen many people who have made their own hooks. You should also get a couple cross bars that go across the top of the propanels to help stabalize the walls. I have never had a problem with wind when it is all set up. You leave two attached at a time and put them at right angles during set up and break down so they don't fall over.
Hi Melanie! How do you use the hooks, I got them last week and have no idea how to use them. I know they go inside the panel but they have a part at the end that I have no idea what's for.
Thanks,
Lu

Once the tent and the propanels are up you stick one end of the hook into the leg of the propanel and then the hook end around the canopy bar. Then you twist the handle until it is tight. When you want to remove the hooks you unscrew the handle until the hook is not tight and comes right out.
There are two issues with the hooks. One, it can be hard to turn the handle because the way the propanel leg and the hook line up to the tent, the canopy cross bar gets in the way. I have the trimline. I bet propanel will change this one day. The second, make sure to NOT tighten up the hook when it is out of the propanel leg. When I first got the hooks, after my first use, 2 of the hooks somehow twisted in storage. I could not get them loose at a sho, so couldn't get them into the propanel. Luckinly it wasn't a windy show. I had a bunch of different handy artist try to fix them during the course of the show. Finally at home, after the show, I was able to loosen them with some oil, a grip, a wrench and my husband. I was about to send those two back. Since then I have made sure they have plenty of wiggle room in storage and have had no problems.
Hope this makes sense. I am not very good at explaining myself ;)

Thank-you for the information, this is the direction we were heading. A trimline with propanels.
