My Booth Needs a Re-Vamp

After many years of doing shows, my white drapes are beginning to wear and the black drapes are fading.  It's time to freshen up my booth.

I'll be keeping the grids and the frames that display my jewelry.

On hard surfaces, I always use 10x10 black rubber flooring which is topped by a black rug with a subtle turquoise/lime print. (It's unfortunate that I didn't have it for the booth photo shoot.)

I'd appreciate any suggestions.

  • Many fine artists who work in smaller dimensions (such as jewelry) will have larger photos of their work in the booth so that folks walking by are intrigued and come in to take a closer look. That is something you might consider, it could also break up the horizontal pipe lines by covering them up somewhat.

    • Hi Camryn, That's a good idea!  That space between the top of the grids and the horizontal poles has always been a thorn in my side.   Having a banner attached to the horizontal poles would add some color, show enlarged images of my work and cover that dead space. Thanks for your feedback!

My booth is not jewelry, but here's how we use large images since you can't tell exactly what we are showing otherwise.

I always say I'm going to re-do them a little larger, and then it's suddently time to pack for a show and I don't have time. But it does get people to give the booth a second look.
