I just came across this event in Kansas City that I've not heard of before: the 50th Annual Mid-Winter Art Fair at the Ward Parkway Center. 50 years ago art fairs really got a boost when shopping centers hosted shows to bring people in to shop in the stores in the winter and many artists got their start doing "mall shows." Anyone know anything about this one?

Just found out about it myself last night and I live in the KC area. A friend who is a photographer told me he is in the show every year. That is about all I know. I will probably visit and assess it for next year.
