Hey all, I just pricelined a 2 1/2 star (whatever that is) hotel for the Plaza in September. I got the Best Western PLus Seville Plaza, 3/4 mile from the show for $65 plus tax and $5 priceline fee. Looks nice. I was interested in the Homestead for $79 which was a show recommendation till I went online and saw that was the regular price. The "special" part of that deal is that you can get it for $79 now no matter who you are or you can wait because they will raise there price later as the show draws near and get the "special"rate after the rates are raised, but only if you are lucky enough and they still have a room available. I feel like doin a Jon Stewart take!

Good for you Jerry. I use Priceline when I can. Priceline is sort of useless in a smaller town. You really need to be near a lot of hotels to get a good deal. We also have aChoice Privledges Visa card. As we buy things and pay for hotels we are building up points to get free rooms. In the summer time they usually offer a deal to stay 2 nights and get a third free. You should check in to that, too.
