Maybe I'm a dummy, but I don't understand how to put the curtains (decorative) on my trimline tent. According to the tent build instructions, you put the top of the tent together first. Than you lift it up and attach it to the legs. How do you out the curtains on the piping? I'm thinking I need to unstitch the curtains and make them Velcro over the piping instead. Am I missing something here? Or do you all hang them from a different pole that you attach inside???

  • I purchased some alligator clamps and my husband made curtain hooks to attach to them and hang my curtains that way.  No need to slide any curtain onto any rod.

  • We made rods out of skinny, white PVC pipe with connectors at the corners to make a "U" Russell attaches the unit to the canopy top rails with cable ties. Works really well and the "U" comes apart for easy transport.

    • Ok.  Thanks.  I was wondering if I just was being stupid, or what. We've set the tent up and I can't think of a way to get those curtains on there without doing it when the roof is laying on the ground (which is obviously not going to work).
