I am new to the Art Fair world and have been reading all of the "reviews" on this site for a few months and I am so thankful to have a place like this to "learn the ropes". I participated in my first Art Fair in June and totally enjoyed myself. I look forward to many more and learning from others as well as posting my own reviews.

Hi Pat! My first show was a small show in Tecumseh Michigan. It was a first time event put on by the Tecumseh Community Art Center. The fair was in June and I had a wonderful time. Only about 20 vendors but all quality merchandise. The artist couple in the next tent were so helpful with helping me set up my tent and giving me helpful hints on what works and what does not work in a display. The staff was wonderful, close parking, air conditioned lounge, booth sitters and continental breakfast in the morning. And I made enough in sales to cover by booth costs with a little bit of "mad money". Since this was my first fair I have nothing to compare this one to, but do plan on participating again next year.
