Hey, everyone - Someone told me that there's a show they did, and they liked the show a lot, but there is apparently a terrible area in which to be placed - near the railroad tracks and port-a-potties - (yum!) - and I THINK that this show was Brandywine in Wilmington, Del.
Is it? Can anyone help me? I have SUCH a terrible memory. And yes, I did look on this site and Art Show Review first.

Are you sure that wasn't me talking about Roanoke? I was by the train tracks and the porta potties there but it actually wasn't a bad spot. If only the weather hadn't completely sucked.

I've only had one show since then and it was before I picked up the new tent so this weekend will be the first time putting it up at a show. I'm a little nervous but I have put it up in the backyard. Hope the summer has treated you well too.
Is that at Seawall this weekend? What's your spot number? I am going to try and get by on Friday to see if anyone needs help setting up.
Hi, Dave, no it's a show in Delaware in a few weeks. I'm not doing the Seawall show. Hope you have a great one! Maybe next year I will be there.
Carrie - I attended the show a few years ago and from what I can remember, there are railroad tracks that the customers cross on their way into the show. So it's very likely that this is the show you're thinking of. I just looked on their site to see if they had a map and they haven't updated the artists for 2013!! The show is in a few weeks.....
Thanks, all - The AFIer who gave me the info contacted me and I wrote to the show's organizers and asked to be away from the tracks. I generally don't ask for placement, not wanting to tick off an organizer, but this time I did. So we shall see.

Folks, no one has placed me anywhere yet, good or bad. Someone at some show told me about some OTHER show where there was a really bad place to be placed, and I just can't remember which show she warned me about.
Usually I don't ask for specific placement, but in this one instance of this one show, I would. But I don't want to ask, and potentially piss off the show organizer of Brandywine, if it is not the show with that bleak area.
I am just trying to ascertain which show that artist was discussing. Nothing bad has happened yet, honestly.
