Has anyone used Intiuit.com for their website?

Hey all! I have been seeing ads on tv for intuit.com - a website making, well website. I currently use www.moonfruit.com, but my yearly subscription - after two years, will be up in August. I am intrigued by the site as it seems to work like moonfruit - no html, but more flash driven (click and drag) in nature. With moonfruit.com it is $79 a year with e-commerce capabilities and can have up to 7 sites under one account. I haven't signed up for the 30 day free trial period, but if it is $4.99 a month (and I am sure it might be more for "a more detailed" site). But if anyone has any thoughts on the topic, let me know!

I use Fine Art Studio Online http://www.faso.com and love it. You can get a 60 day free trial.
I have the Gold plan, which includes my own domain, up to 500 image capacity and the ability to access and update myself 24/7. It costs $28 a month.

Faso is created by Clint Watson who ran galleries and loves art, so he works hard to provide a great service for artists. You also have real live tech support when you need it.

I have not used Intuit. Bought my domain names through goDaddy.com some time ago: ArtFairCalendar.com and ArtFairInsiders.com. My AFC site is built on Typepad -- it is terrific, inexpensive. I think I pay $19.95 a month for the deluxe! Who could open a storefront for that kind of money?

I've used it (thru Homestead) for five years. Mine was quite complex, needed customization etc. I also use Intuit for my merchant account and just this week ordered their card reader for my I-Phone. My attitude has always been - "simplify, simplify, simplify" - and Intuit has made my life much easier. I use my own domain name. http://www.andersonphotoworks.com. Five years ago I signed up for the extra search engine options, but now that the search engines have my info, and I heavily use face book for marketing, I dropped those extra charges after two years. My plan includes a website and a store.

You can use the homestead.com that is provide by intuit. The catch is that if you want a full e store and email marketing it will cost you 39.95 per month the 4.95 is not that great. You get your own name and several emails. It takes a bit to set up.

I never got that far with Intuit. And beware of the domain name. They renew in varying intervals, so it's not a one-time fee. And I do love Go Daddy. They have a website builder as well.

Moonfruit does a similar thing, however you can buy the domain name through them as well - I think it is just a few dollars more - one time fee if I am not mistaken... Do you recall Intuit doing the same option? Chances are I most likely will have to play with the site and see if I like it enough to switch, but your input helps!

I looked into Intuit before renewing my Go Daddy account and what I didn't like is that you don't have your own domain name, i.e.: www.yourname.com. It uses Intuit's domain with your website name at the end, i.e.: www.intuit.com/yourwebsitename. The last thing I want to do is confuse someone who's looking for me, or send them away by being able to search a host for similar products.
