Has anyone participated in Artspire in LaCrosse Wisconsin on June 8th? I'm a nature photographer and not sure if I should apply for this art fair.

Hi Jessica, I participated in ArtSpire the last two years, but I am going to opt out this year as the sales have been pretty slow. It's a nice venue and the Pump House does a great job with lots of volunteers but in the end the reason we do these crazy outdoor shows is to make money! They have a pretty good crowd, but it's mostly families coming down to enjoy the food and music. It is a finer art fair, so the quality of the exhibitors is very good. If you decide to give it a try, plan for wind. This is set up on a street that brings the wind in from the river like a tunnel. I wish you luck and let me know how it goes this year!
